Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Zonal Sales Manager to lead our sales operations in Jharkhand. This is a senior leadership position responsible for driving sales growth, developing market strategies, and overseeing the entire sales team within the designated zone. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in the agriculture or crop protection industry and a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive zonal sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of regional and territory managers to ensure high performance and professional development.
  • Market Development: Identify new business opportunities, expand the dealer and distributor network, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Sales Execution: Monitor sales activities, analyze performance data, and implement corrective measures to optimize results.
  • Budget Management: Manage the zonal sales budget effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation and return on investment.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports and forecasts to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and competitive activities.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience: 15-25 years of progressive experience in sales, with a significant portion in a leadership role, preferably within the crop protection or a related agricultural industry.
  • Location: Based in Maharashtra.
  • Skills: Proven ability to manage large sales teams, strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Education: A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary: ₹12 – 18 Lakhs per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
