We are hiring a Area Manager job in Andhra Pradesh for a dynamic, results-driven professional with over 10 years of experience in Crop Protection Chemicals (CPC) sales and marketing. The ideal candidate will have at least 4–5 years in a supervisory role, a deep understanding of the agri-input market and rural ecosystem, and a proven track record in managing field teams, scaling partner networks, and driving consistent growth in sales and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business strategy into actionable plans at state, district, and field levels to achieve sales and network growth targets.
- Own and deliver on state-level KPIs, including monthly/quarterly sales, partner activation, retention, and margin targets.
- Lead training and onboarding of Sankalp Partners (retailers) and Mitras (influencers/farmers).
- Drive field teams to ensure high engagement, order generation, and target achievement through digital platforms.
- Monitor onboarding quality, conduct product training, and resolve escalations related to service or incentives.
- Supervise and motivate a team of Territory Managers and Field Executives across Andhra Pradesh.
- Ensure compliance with internal SOPs, partner agreements, and operational processes.
- Develop and execute localized strategies to increase reach in rural markets.
- Support sales enablement tools, campaigns, and incentive schemes.
- Analyze sales data, competitor activity, and market feedback for continuous improvement.
Candidate Profile
- Education: B.Sc. in Agriculture/Horticulture (mandatory); M.Sc. in Agriculture or MBA in Agribusiness (preferred)
- Experience: 5+ years in CPC sales & marketing; 3–4 years managing state/zonal teams; 5+ years working in Andhra Pradesh
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of regional agronomy, crop patterns, and rural farmer behavior in AP
- Excellent sales, team leadership, field execution, and network-building skills
- Proficient in MS Office and digital reporting tools
- Comfortable with extensive travel
- Strong communication in Telugu, Hindi, and English
Compensation & Employment Type
- Salary: ₹50,000 per month, negotiable based on experience, capability, and fit
