Location: Projects across Eastern & South Eastern Railway Zones, Eastern India
We are hiring an experienced Assistant Manager – Project Execution to oversee large-scale railway telecommunication infrastructure projects across Eastern and South Eastern Railway Zones. A leading engineering solutions provider with a strong partnership with Indian Railways is seeking a skilled professional with 5–7 years of hands-on experience in project execution, technical operations, and coordination with government authorities. The ideal candidate is around 35 years old and highly proficient in managing mission-critical railway projects.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership: Lead the execution of railway telecommunication and electrical infrastructure projects, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
Technical Execution: Install and commission:
- Passenger Amenities Systems (PAPIS)
- Train Information Boards (TIB) & Coach Information Boards (CIB)
- Public Address (PA) Systems
- Optical Fiber Cable (OFC) laying and splicing
- Underground cable laying
- Networking solutions (WAN, LAN, routers, switches)
- CCTV Surveillance Systems
Operational Management: Ensure adherence to Letter of Acceptance (LOA) and contract agreements. Manage resources efficiently to meet project deadlines.
Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary contact for railway authorities for approvals, inspections, and project support.
Documentation & Billing: Prepare and submit on-account bills, material reconciliation reports, variation statements, progress reports, and manage project extensions.
Candidate Profile
- Education: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electronics & Communication or Electrical Engineering, or B.Sc. in Physics. MBA in Marketing & Finance preferred.
- Experience: 5–7 years in railway telecommunication project execution.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of Indian Railways’ project protocols, technical expertise in telecom and surveillance systems, excellent project planning, resource management, and communication skills. Proficient in MS Office.
Compensation & Employment Type
- Salary: ₹5–6 Lakhs CTC per annum (higher package for exceptional candidates)
