About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate – Finance and Accounts to manage end-to-end accounting operations for a leading client. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial reporting, RBI compliance, SAP accounting, and MIS preparation, while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities using SAP.
- Prepare essential MIS reports such as payment trackers, claim trackers, and other financial summaries.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and submit RBI monthly and quarterly returns (training will be provided).
- Coordinate with various client departments to ensure smooth financial processes.
General Responsibilities:
- Handle auditor queries (statutory and internal).
- Support the client with ad-hoc accounting and financial tasks as required.
Knowledge and Skill Set
Essential Skills:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Ability to manage tasks independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent time management, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
Preferred Skills:
- Working knowledge of SAP and financial statement preparation under Ind AS and IFRS.
- Familiarity with NBFC operations and RBI compliance requirements.
- Understanding of Ind AS, GST, and Income Tax regulations.
Education & Experience
- Qualification: Semi-qualified CA (only if not pursuing further), B.Com (Hons), or MBA.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of work experience or strong articleship exposure in accounting and finance.
Compensation
- CTC: ₹2.88 – ₹3.5 LPA (plus bonus as per company policy).
