We are seeking a diligent and experienced Warehouse In-charge to lead and manage daily stock operations specifically within our high-volume E-commerce fulfillment process. The ideal candidate will be a meticulous organizer responsible for quality control (QC), bar-code management, inventory accuracy, and coordinating efficient picking and returns processing. This role is central to maintaining seamless inventory flow and minimizing discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management & Quality Control (QC)
- Barcode Management: Systematically scan and verify barcodes on incoming and outbound E-commerce stock.
- Quality Assurance: Take full responsibility for identifying and correcting incorrect barcodes applied to articles to ensure accurate inventory tracking.
- Rejected Goods Management: Maintain a precise and updated Rejection List for all non-conforming or damaged goods, ensuring they are segregated and accounted for.
Picking, Dispatch, and Documentation
- Picking Coordination: Generate and provide stock requirements to the picking team, ensuring timely and accurate retrieval of items.
- Documentation & Finance: Collect bills of lading/dispatch documents from the picking team and accurately submit them to the Accounts department for processing.
Returns Processing & Claim Management
- Returns Verification: Handle all incoming return stock. A system and training will be provided to record (video record) the condition of returned goods for documentation purposes.
- Claim Issuance: Process and issue necessary claims to marketplaces or vendors for damaged or returned merchandise.
Team Management & Flexibility
- Team Support: Collaborate with and occasionally assist the labor team by taking on their responsibilities during staff shortages (e.g., when a laborer is on leave) to ensure continuity of operations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and highly organized warehouse environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in warehouse operations, specifically within the E-commerce or Retail sector.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency and experience using inventory management systems or handheld scanners is preferred.
- Process Orientation: Strong understanding of Quality Control (QC) procedures and meticulous attention to detail, especially concerning barcodes and documentation.
- Accountability: Must be highly responsible, reliable, and able to fix issues independently.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to handle physical tasks and work on the warehouse floor for extended hours.
- Work Style: A proactive, flexible, and hands-on approach to work.
Compensation
- Budget: Up to 25,000 per month (Based on Experience)
