We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Head to lead growth initiatives in the Flexibles, Printing, Packaging, and Conversion industry. This role requires strong expertise in business development, packaging technologies, compostable materials, and customer relationship management. The right candidate will have a proven track record of achieving revenue targets and developing successful business strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a robust revenue generation plan and align business strategies using data-driven insights.
- Create effective approach frameworks, pitch decks, and customer pipelines.
- Understand costing mechanisms and track variations for accurate commercial planning.
- Collaborate with commercial partners to build clear pricing roadmaps.
- Gain expertise in the compostable material science domain to support sustainable business initiatives.
- Connect with manufacturers and converters to align new product developments.
- Draft proposals and marketing briefs for customer requirements and product development.
- Explore new market segments, customer needs, and industry trends in compostable packaging materials.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Printing & Packaging Engineering, Science, or related field (Diploma in Packaging acceptable). Advanced degrees/certifications are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in Business Development within Flexibles, Printing, Packaging, or Conversion industries.
- Strong background in Market Research & Analysis with knowledge of industry dynamics.
- Demonstrated ability to create business plans and achieve sales/revenue goals.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Knowledge of packaging technologies such as Coatings, Laminations, Slitting & Pouching, and Packaging structure development is preferred.
