We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Portfolio Manager to lead our herbicides division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the growth and success of both existing and new product launches by developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies. This role requires a strong understanding of the crop protection industry and a proven track record in both sales and marketing.

- Salary: ₹20 Lakhs per annum

- Reporting to: GM, Marketing
- Designation: Portfolio Manager / Senior Manager (level based on experience)
Roles & Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Launch: Develop and lead product launch campaigns from preparation to execution and review. Define product positioning and unique value propositions (UVPs) to gain a competitive edge in the market.
- Market & Competition Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify product gaps and new development trends.
- Campaign Management: Design and implement seasonal marketing campaigns (Kharif & Rabi) in collaboration with sales and marketing teams.
- Collaboration & Training: Act as the primary liaison between marketing, sales, and R&D teams. Ensure the sales team is well-trained and knowledgeable about product UVPs and campaigns.
- Business Planning: Contribute to annual budgeting and prepare three-year business cases for new and existing products.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in Agriculture is required; an MSc in Agriculture or an MBA is preferred.
- Experience: 8-12 years of experience in the crop protection industry, with a strong background in brand management. Experience handling an herbicides portfolio is a significant advantage.
