Job Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Sales Officer for Vet Feed and Supplements to focus on high-value customer acquisition, specifically targeting large dairy farmers. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the cattle feed industry and a proven ability to advise and build strong relationships with farmers. This role involves working in the catchment areas of multiple vet feed retail stores, with the goal of increasing customer satisfaction and achieving sales and profitability targets. Candidates with a background in cattle feed and dairy, along with financial planning skills, will be most successful.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sales: Work in line with the organization’s business strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Customer Acquisition: Identify and meet with large-scale dairy farmers within your defined territory.
- Action Planning: Develop and execute a clear action plan to achieve target numbers for customer accounts and sales.
- Operational Adherence: Ensure all functions and operations align with company SOPs.
- Customer Satisfaction: Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and effective problem resolution.
- Technical Support: Address customer complaints and provide solutions for technical queries.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Graduate in any stream.
- Experience: Must have 4-5 years of experience in sales or marketing within the cattle feed industry.
- Preferred Experience: Experience in farmer engagement, advisory services, and dealer engagement is highly preferred.
Job Skills & Requirements
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the cattle feed and dairy industry.
- Communication: Excellent customer interaction skills, along with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer operation skills and solid numerical skills.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial sense to drive business growth.
- Personal Equipment: Must own a smartphone (Android/iOS) and a motorcycle in working condition. No exceptions.
Salary Range: ₹25,000 to ₹35,000 per month.
