Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 6 to 8 years of experience specifically within the agrochemical industry. This role requires strong expertise in accounts payable, expense booking, and a thorough understanding of GST, TDS, and other relevant accounting principles. Proficiency with SAP is essential. The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations and ensuring accuracy and compliance in all accounting activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and process accounts payable, including verifying invoices, obtaining approvals, and ensuring timely payments to vendors.
- Record and reconcile expenses, ensuring all transactions are accurately booked and categorized.
- Prepare and file GST and TDS returns, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
- Conduct regular bank and ledger reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Utilize and manage financial data within the SAP system to ensure efficient and accurate processing of all accounting functions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
- Support audit preparations and provide necessary documentation as required.
- Maintain and update accounting records and financial data in an organized manner.
- Stay up-to-date with new accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in an accounting role, with specific experience in the agrochemical sector being mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable, Expenses booking, and general accounting principles.
- Expertise in Indian tax regulations, including GST and TDS.
- Proven proficiency in using SAP for financial management and reporting.
- Educational qualification of CA Inter or an MBA in Finance.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
