Technical Qualifications

• Education: B.Sc. or Diploma in Engineering.
• Mandatory Certification: PDIS (Post Diploma in Industrial Safety) is a must.
• Industry Background: Candidate must have prior experience in an Agrochemical or Chemical manufacturing company.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Safety Operations: Oversee day-to-day safety activities, including work permit systems, height work safety, and chemical handling protocols.
• Hazard Identification: Conduct regular shop-floor inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Emergency Response: Ensure all safety equipment (Fire extinguishers, PPEs, Safety showers) are in working condition and lead emergency mock drills.
• Compliance: Maintain safety registers and documentation as per statutory requirements.
• Training: Provide safety inductions and on-the-job training to workers and contractors to foster a “Safety First” culture.

Required Skills

• Expertise in Chemical Process Safety.
• Knowledge of Fire & Safety norms.
• Ability to handle safety audits and incident investigations.
• Strong communication skills to manage laborers and technical staff.
