Balaji Consultancy is hiring a result-driven State Head for a leading Agrochemical and Specialty Nutrients organization. This leadership role is based in Hyderabad and is responsible for driving the agricultural business across the state of Telangana.
We are looking for a “hard-core” sales leader with extensive experience in Pesticides, Plant Growth Regulators (PGR), and Fertilizers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Telangana agricultural landscape and a proven ability to build high-performing teams and distribution networks.

Key Responsibilities
- Sales Leadership: Drive state-wide sales growth in line with company objectives.
- Specialty Nutrients Vertical: Lead the expansion of the Specialty Nutrient business by building and managing a separate, dedicated channel network.
- Team Building: Recruit, train, and motivate the sales force. You will coordinate with the existing team while building a new vertical for specialized products.
- P&L Management: Responsible for state-wide profitability, credit management, and maintaining a healthy inventory-to-sales ratio.
- Strategic Planning: Prepare and execute short-term and long-term business plans for the Telangana market.
- Demand Generation: Create market demand for key products through field marketing, demos, and farmer-centric programs.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Maintain strong relationships with the Department of Agriculture, University Scientists, and key distributors.
- Market Intelligence: Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and regional agricultural shifts.

- Proven Expertise: Must have hands-on experience in sales and marketing of Pesticides, PGRs, and Fertilizers.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to handle large teams and retain talent for long-term growth.
- Strategic Thinker: Competence in budget allocation and resource management based on market potential.
