The ideal candidate will be a “hard-core” sales professional with deep expertise in the Pesticides, PGR (Plant Growth Regulators), and Fertilizer sectors. As the State Head, you will be responsible for driving market share, managing large-scale distribution networks, and building a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities & Performance Areas
- Strategic Growth: Drive sales growth in alignment with company objectives, focusing specifically on the expansion of the Specialty Nutrient portfolio.
- Channel Development: Build and manage a robust distribution network. You will be tasked with creating a separate, dedicated channel for the Specialty Nutrient business.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing sales team. You will be responsible for identifying future leaders and ensuring high employee retention.
- Financial Oversight: Manage State Profitability, Credit Management, and Resource Management. Maintain a low inventory and an optimized expense-to-sales ratio.
- Budgeting & Planning: Allocate annual budgets based on market potential and prepare short-term and long-term strategic plans for Haryana.
- Demand Generation: Create market demand for key products through field marketing and effective product positioning.
- Liaisoning: Represent the company in liaisons with the Department of Agriculture and University Scientists to stay ahead of industry trends and compliance.
Candidate Requirements
- Industry Expert: Proven track record in “Hard Core Sales” within the Pesticides, PGR, and Fertilizer industry.
- Leadership: Demonstrated experience in handling large teams and managing state-level operations.
- Market Intelligence: Strong understanding of local market trends, competitor activity, and farmer requirements in Haryana.
- Network: Existing relationships with distributors and influencers in the Haryana agricultural belt.
