Travel Sales Executive

We are looking for a highly experienced and results-oriented Senior/Junior Travel Sales Executive to join our team in Laxmi Nagar, Delhi. The ideal candidate will have a robust history of successfully selling a diverse range of domestic and international travel packages. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth by converting leads, building strong client relationships, and designing bespoke itineraries.


Key Responsibilities

Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for both domestic and international travel packages.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial lead qualification through to closing the sale and post-booking follow-up.
  • Actively pursue new sales opportunities and manage a portfolio of existing high-value clients.
  • Negotiate rates and contracts with clients and vendors to maximize profit margins while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Client & Itinerary Management

  • Consult with clients to understand their travel needs, preferences, and budget to design customized and compelling travel itineraries.
  • Expertly sell and upsell supplementary products such as travel insurance, visa services, and premium transfers.
  • Maintain an up-to-date, comprehensive knowledge of various international destinations, visa regulations, major airlines, hotel chains, and tourist attractions.
  • Ensure all bookings (flights, hotels, activities, transfers) are handled accurately and efficiently using relevant GDS/booking systems.

Administration & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and sales forecasts in the CRM system.
  • Prepare detailed sales reports and present performance metrics to management.
  • Stay informed about current market trends, competitor offerings, and industry changes to adapt sales strategies accordingly.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5-7 years of proven, relevant experience in Domestic and International Travel Sales packages.
  • Mandatory: Strong demonstrable success in converting high-value travel sales leads.
  • Excellent geographical knowledge of popular international and domestic tourist destinations.
  • Proficiency in using a Global Distribution System (GDS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage a high volume of sales leads, and thrive in a target-driven environment.

Compensation & Location

  • Job Location: Laxmi Nagar, Delhi
  • Salary: Up to ₹12,00,000 per annum (12 LPA), depending on experience and interview performance.
