Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Mortgage Loan Officer to join our lending team. You will be responsible for sourcing new home loan applications, guiding customers through the mortgage process, and ensuring a seamless approval experience. The ideal candidate has a strong sales background and excellent knowledge of mortgage products.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Source potential clients for Home Loans, Loans Against Property (LAP), and Mortgage Refinancing.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Real Estate Agents, Builders, and Chartered Accountants to generate referrals.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets (disbursement & file login).
  • Organize promotional activities and loan camps to increase brand visibility.

2. Customer Consultation & Processing

  • Evaluate customer financial status and creditworthiness to recommend the right mortgage product.
  • Collect and verify initial documentation (KYC, Income Proof, Property Papers) before submission to the credit team.
  • Act as the single point of contact for the customer from application to loan disbursement.
  • Resolve customer queries regarding interest rates, EMIs, and processing fees.

3. Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure all applications comply with company policies and regulatory guidelines (e.g., RBI/Central Bank norms).
  • Maintain a daily sales report (DSR) and update the CRM with lead statuses.
  • Monitor post-disbursement documentation and assist in delinquency management if required.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience in Mortgage Sales, Banking, or NBFCs.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of Home Loan products and documentation.
    • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
    • Basic knowledge of credit analysis and property legalities.
    • Local market knowledge is a plus.
