About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day activities of a restaurant in Delhi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, maintaining high service standards, managing teams, and driving profitability. This role requires a hands-on leader who can balance operational efficiency with exceptional customer experience while fostering a positive work environment for staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including dining, kitchen, and customer service.
- Manage and train staff to maintain consistent service quality and operational efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels, food costs, and wastage, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
- Implement and maintain SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for all operational areas.
- Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with chefs, service staff, and vendors to ensure seamless business functioning.
- Handle customer feedback promptly and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Analyze financial performance, prepare reports, and recommend cost-effective strategies.
- Plan and execute promotional events or activities to increase footfall and revenue.
- Supervise maintenance, cleanliness, and upkeep of the restaurant premises.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate or Diploma in Hotel Management / Hospitality / Business Administration preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in restaurant or hospitality operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent understanding of restaurant financials, staffing, and vendor management.
- Problem-solving ability with a focus on efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Proficient in POS systems, billing, and basic operational software.
- Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
